Stradal Potential ("we") operates the Clearer app. This policy explains what we collect and why.
Your quit progress lives entirely on your device. The only thing that leaves your device is purchase information, which is handled by Apple and our payments provider. We don't sell your data, and we don't use it to track you across other apps or websites.
Stored only on your device (we cannot see it): your answers during setup, puff logs, check-ins, streaks, achievements, and your stated reason for quitting. This never leaves your device.
Purchases: if you subscribe, Apple processes the payment. We use a subscription management provider (RevenueCat) to know whether your subscription is active. This involves an app-specific identifier and your purchase status — not your payment details, which only Apple holds.
We do not collect: your name, email, contacts, precise location, browsing history, or advertising identifiers. We do not include third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
To make the app work and to unlock premium features for active subscribers. That's it.
We share information only with the service provider that operates the app's subscription management on our behalf (RevenueCat), and only as needed to run the service. We do not sell personal information.
Delete everything: Settings → "Delete all my data" erases your on-device data. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access or delete personal data — contact us at clearersupport@gmail.com.
On-device data persists until you delete it or uninstall the app.
Clearer is intended for adults working to quit nicotine and is rated 17+. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
